Results
The biggest quantity of product was stored after dried. There is still no active co-operative or similar organisation, therefore producers had to deal with vendors and commissioners. Producers sold large quantity of product (49%) within the 3 months after harvesting. In 1984, while the average price of the plants was 651.55 TL, their price was increased 19% (773 TL) after harvesting 4 months. This result showed that when producer sold the products after harvesting, they could lost 19% of the profit so that producers were needed to be supported.
