ADAPTATION AND EARLIER MATURATION OF 22 VARIOUS DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN TABLE GRAPE VARIETIES IN GAZIANTEP CONDITIONS

Objective
The amount of grapes in earlier period was not sufficient enough as required because maturation of a number of grape varieties occurred in middle earlier period in Gaziantep region. The objective of this study was to determine the popular standard grape varieties in the world which matured in a period by following each other, therefore the consumption period could become longer.
Materials and Methods
A number of foreign and domestic grape varieties, Cardinal, Tilgoren, Royal, Terheyden, Serpenekiran, Muscat reine des vignes, Iskenderiye misketi, Zeyni, Samri, Chasselas de fou Bleau, Pance precoce, Italya, Bozcaadacavusu, Perlette, Hamburg misketi, Musabbik, Royal Ameriore Moltze, Perie de Casaba, Alphons lavalle, Hazendayi, Tahannebi, Mario piovano ve Jaoumet were used in this study. The phenological examination was reported after occuring fruitbuds and yield and productivity of young branch were evaluated. The solid material and general acidity in raisin wine were determined as technological analysis.
Results
Earlier maturation was considered as an important criteria beside of productivity and the quality properties. Perlette, Cardinal, Iskenderiye misketi, Hamburg misketi, Pance precoce and Serpenekiran and Tahannebi known as matured earlier had good productivity, quality and early maturation period. These varieties were suggested to grow in this region.
