Tahannebi and Honusu grapes were widespread and very popular fruit grape types in the market and consumption as first and last early fruits. Consequently, the best father which increased the yield by spreading high amount and alive of pollen for these varieties needed to be determined.
Materials and Methods
Blooms as morphologic female, Tahannebi and Honusu main varieties as physiologic female were used to get yield. These varieties and blooming regional varieties were used as pollinator to determine the best inseminator.
Results
Kabarcik and Sergikarasivarieties were evaluated the bestfather for Tahannebi which was the earlier comsumed grape variety in the region. Sergikarasi, earlier and dried grape variety, was grown widespareadly in the region. Kabarcik could be consumed as raisin wine and fresh. When Kabarcik was seeded as father of tahennebi, it was considered as economical.
The results showed that Dokulgen and Kunefi varieties could be used as father of Honusu. Kunefi variety was found to be more economical but Dokulgen was consumed as raisin wine and fresh and it could be also harvested with Honusu.
There was no opportunity to plant separate Vineyard for Honusu and Tahannebi varieties and with their suitable father ,therefore large amount of yield and quality were lost. The shake of the product and beading problem of Honusu variety could be prevented using a good inseminator.
